Our 2021 Shades of Color show is now live! This special exhibition honors the African-American influence present within Bertie arts culture and will feature the work of local artists Trudy Riggens, Gerald Knight, Erskine Spruill, Walter Smallwood, and Julius Tillery. We are sorry that we still can't host a gallery reception due to the ongoing SARS-CoV2 pandemic but please enjoy our virtual show online (which can be found here https://www.bertiearts.com/new-page-4) and feel free to stop by the gallery if you'd like to see it in person. The gallery is currently open to visitors on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10AM-2PM. If you can’t make it by during those hours, appointments can be made by calling us at 252-794-9402. Please note that mask usage is still mandatory for all persons who enter the gallery (in accordance with the NC Arts Council’s Guidelines For Reopening the Arts in NC). We hope you enjoy the show!
